Sensational! Allegri and Ibrahimovic had a fight in a restaurant. Tare had to physically separate them. May 26, 2026, by Antonello Gioia A sensational behind-the-scenes story about the relationship between Allegri and Ibrahimovic was revealed by Monica Colombo, a journalist for Corriere della Sera. According to Monica Colombo, a journalist for Corriere della Sera, "the rift between Allegri and Ibrahimovic, which has roots way back in time, occurred in a restaurant and in the presence of Furlani and Tare, who had to physically separate the coach and the Swede." "Everything that's happening around AC Milan ," Monica Colombo said two weeks ago, "is quite hectic. Even the team environment is inevitably shaken by the various internal tensions. What's happening is that AC Milan is divided into factions, and as long as the results were useful, the dust was swept under the carpet. Then old tensions have suddenly resurfaced at the first opportunity ." "From what I understand, Ibrahimovic hasn't been seen in the locker rooms at San Siro and Milanello for three months. To resolve this, there needs to be a discussion between him and Allegri, which hasn't happened recently. Right now, the two aren't speaking to each other, and continuing like this isn't possible. There was a point of contention over the choice of a third goalkeeper for next year, but it was just a pretext to resurface old tensions. When Allegri learned of the contacts with Cassano, it didn't help, nor did the fact that Ibra spoke to Fofana and Leao, giving them tactical advice that was different from what the coach gave in training."

Monica Colombo , in the pages of the Corriere della Sera (Milan edition) , told this morning this behind-the-scenes story about what happened in the stands at San Siro where all the AC Milan directors were sitting when Alexis Saelemaekers scored the goal that gave the Rossoneri the lead against Cagliari: " They say that when Saelemaekers scored in the 2nd minute of the match, only Igli Tare jumped up to celebrate AC Milan's lead. The other directors remained impassive, almost annoyed by the direction the evening was taking: the team had put itself in the best possible condition to qualify for the Champions League, an objective that had been asked of Max Allegri and Igli Tare at the start of the season. With a result like that, it would have been impossible to fire the coach and the sporting director, even though RedBird's Senior Advisor, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, couldn't stand either of them."
